Ready for BOVALIM

Led by CNIEL with the support of GS1 France, BOVALIM standardizes the exchange of dairy-sector feed delivery notes. AYUMIA contributes to the standardization work and is the first ERP to make the protocol available.

Discover BOVALIM

BOVALIM, the common language of dairy feed

Led by CNIEL with the support of GS1 France, BOVALIM creates a "digital identity card" for animal feed and an electronic delivery note based on the GS1 standard. It replaces the sorting of paper delivery notes with structured, reliable data that can be shared among all players in the sector.

The goal: to simplify traceability and automate checks against specifications (AOP, organic, non-GMO). A telling example: for Comté AOP, 16 of the 18 criteria relate to animal feed.

BOVALIM for every player in the sector

From feed manufacturer to dairy, each player has the right tool — and information flows with no re-keying.

Feed manufacturers & distributors

Issue the delivery notes

With each delivery, manufacturers and distributors issue a digital delivery note to standard, to all their farmer customers: composition, origin of materials, non-GMO statement and lot number.

Farmer / Livestock breeder

Receives, archives and declares

The breeder automatically imports the delivery notes into their feed register, with no re-keying, and archives them — ready to be produced in the event of an inspection. They also declare their own production (silage, hay, home-grown cereals) for full traceability of the ration, and decide for each delivery note whether to share the data.

Dairy, Association & Breeding advisory

Check and advise

On request and with the breeder's consent, the dairy, the association or the breeding advisory service access the delivery notes: automatic checking against the specifications, valorization of differentiated milk and advice on feed and rations.

The feed's identity card

Each electronic delivery note carries a structured identity card based on the GS1 standard, automatically interpretable by IT tools.

Concrete benefits for the whole sector

Simplifying traceability right from the start makes it possible to:

Showcase practices

AOP, organic farming and specific specifications.

Analyze the data

Notably to calculate the environmental footprint of dairy products.

Manage rations

Improve the tracking and adjustment of animal feed.

Reduce the administrative burden

Less data entry and sorting of paper delivery notes.

Strengthen health crisis management

Quickly retrieve feed information in the event of an alert.

What AYUMIA adds to BOVALIM

Beyond data exchange, AYUMIA automates checks and secures the entire chain — from order to archiving.

Checking from the order stage

The manufacturer knows the breeder's specifications and is alerted if an order is non-compliant (e.g. non-organic feed for an organic farm).

Automatic matching

Each delivery note is checked against the specification rules: origin, non-GMO, ration composition.

Mobile receipt by QR code

A QR code on the delivery note lets the breeder confirm receipt with a simple scan on mobile; their feed register is populated automatically.

Non-conformity alerts

Discrepancies are reported immediately to the breeder and the inspection body.

Legal archiving of delivery notes

Delivery notes are kept for the entire legal period, ready for an inspection.

Immutable ledger

Compliance data is timestamped and recorded in an immutable ledger, auditable.

Inspection file

Automatic generation of the compliance file per breeder and per period.

Sharing data with trust

The farmer stays in control of their data

Designed according to CNIEL's principles ("Sharing dairy sector data with trust") and compliant with the RGPD and the Data Act: any data sharing is subject to a clear, fair and revocable agreement.

An agreement for every share

Consent for personal data, authorization for technical data: no data circulates without the breeder's agreement.

Clear, limited purpose

Which data, for what use and for which recipients (dairy, breeding advisory, association): everything is explicit before sharing.

Secure exchange space

The data stays in a space controlled by the breeder; access is granted on request, not in real time.

Withdraw at any time

Every agreement is tracked and revocable, by contract or directly in the tool.

Already have an ERP?

No need to replace everything. AYUMIA can slot in as a gateway between your existing system and BOVALIM: we generate, read and exchange delivery notes based on the GS1 standard from your data — without changing your tools.
